Analysis Of The Poem I - 1347 Words
Dominique Woodrup Composition 2 Luarie Johnson November 11,2016 The Poem I, Too is otherwise called I, Too, Sing America, and was at first titled Epilog when it showed up in The Weary Blues, the 1926 volume of Langston Hughes verse. It has been anthologized more than once and researchers have expounded on it ordinarily. It is composed in free verse and elements short lines and basic dialect. Hughes kept in touch with I, Too from the point of view of an African American man - either a slave, a liberated person in the Jim Crow South, or even a household worker. The absence of a solid personality or recorded setting does not moderate the ballad s message; actually, it gives on it a high level of inclusiveness, for the circumstance Hughes portrays in the lyric mirrors a typical affair for some African Americans amid his time. The speaker starts by proclaiming that he also can sing America, implying that he is guaranteeing his entitlement to feel energetic towards America, despite the fact that he is the darker sibling who can t sit at the table and should eat in the kitchen. This suggests the regular routine of racial isolation amid the mid twentieth century, when African Americans confronted separation in about each part of their lives. They were compelled to live, work, eat and travel independently from their white partners, had couple of common or lawful rights, were fre quently casualties of racial savagery, and confronted financial underestimation inShow MoreRelatedAnalysis Of The Poem Hawai I 934 Words à |à 4 PagesHawaiââ¬â¢i is known by the rest of the world primarily for its tropical weather, exquisite scenery, and luxurious resorts. This work describes an important aspect within the field of safety in residential area namely fire safety. This paper presents 2 case studies on fire based accidents in nearby residential areas. Under these case studies important aspects such as cause, immediate response, emergency preparedness planning, loss in terms of life and property as well as prevention and control measures have been discussed. This paper also focuses on the actual causes of majority of fire related accidents in residential areas mainly student hostels. Special emphasis has been put on at risk behavior/ unsafe behavior leading to these catastrophic accidents. Majority of accidents are result of unsafe acts rather than unsafe conditions thus BBS plays an important role in preventing accidents and bringing risk to an acceptable level by means of spreading awareness. Apart from it, this paper also highlights the different types of residential fires, their prevention and control measures focusing on use of different chemical extinguishers for different types of fire, different types of smoke detectors, fire alarms, role of sprinkler system and emergency exit plan. This paper also presents a full fledged emergency planning and response plan for a local student hostel primarily focusing on duration of mock drills, training of hostel staff, provision of proper fire fighting equipments in the hostel premises and their compliance with the appropriate standards.INTRODUCTIONFire disasters are one of the most common and catastrophic disasters in the world today. This study aims at analyzing residential fires in high rise buildings. High rise buildings pose high risk of fire because of its configuration into widely varying specifications leading to a diverse building environment with many variables which make the hazards difficult to identify and control. Requirement for fire prevention and control in high rise building is inevitable because of higher occupancy and longer distance to exit discharge which may lead to more casualties and property loss.Urban economy is developing rapidly, as a result land resources are becoming scarse every year and high rise buildings are gaining a great deal of importance. The design of these high rise buildings is very complex thus calling for an urgent need of developing ways to handle fire safety situation and it has become a major issue for the society. Some of the major fires in high rise buildings in the recent years are as follows 1) 26 Jan 2018, A hospital in fire in Miryang, South Korea killed atleast 37 people and injured more than 131 others.2) 28 Dec 2017, Kamala Mill s fire in Mumbai killed 14 people.3) 28 Dec 2017, Apartment buildings caught fire on Prospect Avenue in the Bronx in Newyork city killed 124) 26 April 2016, A fire broke out on the top floor of National Museum of Natural History in NewDelhi, no casualities were reported. 5) 2015, Afire in a residential building in Baku, Azerbaijan kills 14 people.Fire risk analysis of high rise building is important because these buildings still lack an efficient fire extinguish method for safe evacuation and if safe evacuation system is in place then many a times occupants of the buildings are not properly trained on how to respond in case of emergencies. Many a times the location of the building also plays a huge role as proper connecti ng roads might not be available making it difficult for fire fighting vehicles to reach on time. Building codes and regulations prescribe basic requirements for assuring fire and life safety in buildings. For implementing these codes and regulations it is required that a fire protection engineer is consulted since the design and construction stage of the building so as to develop a proactive approach towards fire fighting, but in reality a reactive approach is followed for fire fighting in high rise buildings, thus there is no proper compliance with legal requirements.CASE STUDIES1. 28 Dec 2017, Kamala Mills fire in MumbaiA major fire broke out in a pub in the Kamala Mills compound in Mumbai on Dec 28, 2017, early morning. The blaze was reported around 12.30 a.m. from a bistro The Mojo, a rooftop restaurant pub in The Kamla Trade House and quickly spread to another surrounding pub and a restaurant, said an official of BMC Disaster Control.More than 12 fire tenders were rushed to fight the blaze which was brought under control around 6.30 a.m. While the majority of the victims are reported to have perished on the spot, the firemen could rescue 10 others safely from the leaping flames. The injured have been admitted to the KEM Hospital and other hospitals for treatment. At least 14 people died and many others were injured.Doctors at KEM Hospital said all the victims, 11 of whom were women, died due to smoke inhalation after they were trapped inside the restaurants. Suffocation was assessed to be the prime reason of suffocation. The entire pub and the surrounding complex was full of patrons including many women and tourists thronging the fashionable area to unwind.Mumbai Police have booked the owner of the pub for negligence and other charges for the fire, suspected to be triggered by an electric short-circuit. The probe by Mumbai Police into the Kamala Mills fire tragedy has revealed that the fire might have caused due to a short circuit and the inflammable tarpaulin sheets used as sheds was responsible for spreading the blaze. The Polices probe has also revealed that the staff and the managers of 1Above fled the spot immediately after the fire broke out and failed to rescue the patrons. Also, all those who were killed in the deadly blaze were those who had come to dine at 1Above. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police has formed numerous teams to locate the absconding accused. An officer said that when they entered the eatery, they found 12 bodies in the washroom while two were lying in the premises. Curtains served as a trigger for fire.Senior police inspector Ahmed Pathan from the NM Joshi Marg police station said that the FIR has been registered under sections 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder), 337 (endangering personal safety of others), 338(causing grievous hurt by endangering per sonal safety of others) and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code. Sources added that 1 Above had blocked the fire exit using iron rods. The original space is 20Ãâ"20 sq ft in which only 4-5 five tables can be put. But the pub used the open space to add more tables.

Reaction Paper of Andres Bonifacio and Emilio Aguinaldo free essay sample
Marino Olivarez, Capitan municipal of Novelette, Cavity, who persuaded Continual, a mason, to join the Justinian. Continual in turn persuaded Olivarez to join the Free masonry. According to the book that have read, entitled Justinian: is Kayak Andrea at Kayak Mining, Olivarez was the cousin of Gregorian De Jesus, wife of Boniface. He later became a general of the revolution. In the Justinian, Continual, a deeply religious man, adopted the mom De Gruyere Magical, after Mary Magdalene, the patroness of Kuwait. Similarly, Gondolas pseudonym in the Freemasonry was Colon after Christopher Columbus, who discoveredAmerica in 1492, (if Im not mistaken). Gondolas affiliation with Benefactions Justinian was a godsend. A popular and charismatic Capitan municipal, the highest elective post to which a native could aspire during the Spanish regime, Continual recruited many new members for the revolutionary society, including his close friend, Candida Atria Tirana, and his first cousin, Balladeer Continual, both of whom later became revolutionary generals and well-known Kuwait residents like Santiago Dado, C annot Incarnation, and Tomato Continual. We will write a custom essay sample on Reaction Paper of Andres Bonifacio and Emilio Aguinaldo or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page All were masons like Emilio Continual, who belonged to the ironically (According to my High School teacher), then the ruling class of each municipality in the country. But those people- peasants and workers- who could not be admitted into Freemasonry for lack of qualifications were nevertheless recruited by Continual in Justinian. Boniface was naturally much delighted and gratified to learn about the recruitment of many members of the Justinian in Cavity.Boniface himself congratulated Continual, saying the latter was able to sign up many Stationeries because he was such a good Capitan municipal. Continual made periodic trips to Manila o personally report to Boniface on the rapid increase in membership of the Justinian in Kuwait and nearby towns. To express his appreciation for Gondolas efforts, Boniface one day joined the energetic Capitan municipal on his trip to Kuwait and organized a Justinian branch or chapter which the supreme called Magical, at the same time designating Continu al as president of the new chapter. Eve read, The Truth About Continual and Other Heroes by Alfred Saul, I have learned that one day in June 1895, Boniface, accompanied by DRP. Poi Valuable and Justinian secretary Terror Gonzales, went to Kuwait a second time to set up the Magical Council which comprised several towns of Cavity. Because of its unusually large membership, the Magical Council was organized ahead of the Managing Council in the neighboring town of Novelette which was originally headed by Marino Olivarez. The little-known but important historical fact is also glossed over by our historians, like what Ive said a while ago. However, the Managing Council of Olivarez had a much larger territory than Gondolas Magical Council. In this connection, it is important to remember that the evolution in Cavity should not be confused with the Justinian revolt led by Boniface. Following the discovery of the Justinian on August 19, 1896, Boniface and his followers were forced to take to the field and, despite their lack of preparation, raised the standard of rebellion in Pagan Lawn on August 23.Based on my observation in many Filipino historians, one historian r efers to this event as the Cry of Pagan Lawn, but at least two more senior historians describe the incident as the Cry of Balalaikas and say that it happened on August 26, not three days earlier as claimed by historian Canonical. Still other historians, Conrad Benefit and Terror M. Koala, call the incident the Cry of Kayaking, for the water plant kayaking grew in the area.In contrast, there was only one Cry of Cavity, and this took place in the towns of San Francisco De Malabar (now General Trial), Novelette, and Kuwait on the same day, August 31, 1896, the day after the Justinian revolt had fizzled out in the Battle of San Juan del Monte, in Mormon (now Racial) province. The error is that most historians regard the two armed uprisings against the Spanish regime as part of the Philippine Revolution. The truth is that these two incidents occurred in widely separated areas and were entirely independent of each other. The Justinian uprising was purely a revolt- and an abortive one- by a few hundred men under the leadership of Boniface and Emilio Action, while that of Cavity involved thousands of people on the first and many more thousands on the succeeding days, weeks, and months. By sheer magnitude and intensit y, the Cavity uprising was a full-blown revolution. Except for a narrow strip of land where the Spanish arsenal was located, the entire province of Cavity was liberated by the revolutionists in sees than a week. The rebels in the Battle of San Juan were all Stationeries. In the revolution at Cavity, however, the preponderant majority were non- Stationeries- people who had probably never heard of the Justinian before the uprising because it was secretly revolutionary society. They joined the armed struggle against the Spaniards purely out of patriotism. According to General Balladeer Continual, president of the Magical Coo nice- or government-based in Emus, there were only about 300 Stationeries in the province Of Cavity.General Emilio Continual, however, estimated that there ere about 500 Justinian members in Cavity at the outbreak of the revolution. There is a lot of truth to the statement of historian Schumacher that the Revolution in Cavity had outgrown the Justinian and would cast it aside (Based on the book of Terror M. Koala, that I have read during my report). In fact, the Cavity revolutionists forthwith rejected the Justinian and set up the revolutionary government to carry on the struggle for national liberation and independence.Although its membership was well spread in many provinces, especially in Luzon, the Justinian, because of poor military leadership, was able to put up only a one-week revolt, August 23 to 30, ending in a complete debacle: 153 Stationeries killed and about 200 taken prisoner. The Justinian uprising paled into insignificance when compared with earlier revolts. I talk to myself, like Kayak ring pal tit Eng page-alls Nina Tambala as Boll, Summary as Plagiarism, Andrea Malone as Panamanian, Francisco Adagios as Boll, Diego Slang as Locos, Juan deal Cruz Polaris as Panamanian, at Application deal Cruz as Tablas, Anon baa Amman yang! Boniface fled to the hills of San Mateo and Montanan with absolutely no further chance of a successful comeback cause the Justinian in Manila and its environs had melted away. Boniface himself admitted that he had no followers left in the city. After the San Juan fiasco, the Justinian went into oblivion, and Boniface himself was soon forgotten. The Spanish forces under Bernard Caltech did not bother to pursue him in the jungles of Mormon dismissing the remaining rebel force as of little military significance. It would take the passage of several years, long after the death of Boniface, before poet Fernando Ma, Guerdon, editor of El Reenactments, started building the Boniface cult, extolling and magnifying his revolutionary achievements out of proportion to his actual deeds. Have also read the poem, in his long poem entitled Andrea Boniface: Founder of the Justinian, included in his book of poems called Sacroiliacs, Guerdon lauds the Tendon hero. How could an abortive one-week Justinian revolt bring about such feats resulting in a glorious enunciation of a new dawn?Only a poet whose feet are well above the ground can conjure such a fantasy. Had Boniface fled to Cavity after the Battle of San Juan and had General Caltech pursued him there, the Justinian revolt and the Cavity Revolution would have been joined. The Caltech mili tary action, under the modern theory of hot pursuit, would have erased any distinction between the Justinian and the Cavity struggles for freedom, merging them into one giant upheaval-the Philippine Revolution. But instead Boniface took the easiest but near-sighted step- he fled to the security of the jungles of Mormon. He had lost all hope. His fighting days were over. He was therefore the most surprised man in the mountain redoubt hen one day in December he received an invitation from the Managing to go and visit his brother Stationeries in the liberated province of Cavity. The invitation was written by Artemisia Recreate on the insistence of Marino Olivarez. The Managing invitation has been described as a sheer act of malice for the simple reason that no good purpose could be served by Benefactions presence in Cavity at that time.Having failed as a military leader, what advice could he give to the Cavityo revolutionists who had won their battles against Spaniards, driving them away in full of retreat and inactivity for the next overall months while the Spaniards waited for reinforcements from Spain? On the other hand, Benefactions presence in Cavity might affect enemy attacks, keeping the Cavitations out of balance and unable to concentrate their efforts on the primordial task of strengthening th eir Little Republic of Cavity. Boniface, having learned from bitter experience, declined the first two invitations from the Managing. He said it would not be advisable for leaders of the revolution to be cooped up in a small place like Cavity. Should the leaders be trapped, captured, or killed by the enemy, he added, that would mean the end of the revolution. A sensible answer from a man who had tasted defeat. But the Managing would not take no for an answer. A third invitation was sent to Boniface, and this time the latter accepted it. When I was read this book, I whisper that Why? And Why is the answer of Boniface, this question deserves an in-depth study by historians. What made Boniface finally accept the invitation to visit Cavity? In the absence of any historical documents, one can make an educated guess. THE CLIMAX OF MY COMPILATION It is not true, as stated in nearly all history books being taught in our schools ND colleges, that Boniface went to Cavity about mid-December 1896 to mediate the so-called conflict between the Magical and the Managing Councils of the Justinian in the province. Recreate himself said that there was no such conflict before Boniface arrived in Cavity. In fact, the two councils were cooperating splendidly, helping each other in the struggle against the Spaniards. The conflict between the two factions occurred only after Boniface arrived there. One important event ignored by historians is the fact that the day after Boniface arrived in Cavity, he was elected Haring Banyan Of the Magical Council or Government, replacing Marino Olivarez, who was demoted to Panhandling Haring Banyan. This meant that Boniface, in openly identifying himself with the Managing, forfeited whatever right he had,a s the Justinian Supreme, to act as a mediator between the two councils.B enefactions election as Haring Banyan signaled the star of the Magical- Managing conflict. The Managing insisted on claiming the leadership of the revolution for two reasons (based on Nick Joaquin): (1 ) they were first to rise in arms in Cavity, capturing the tribunal of San Francisco De Malabar bout 10 oclock on the morning of August 31, 1896,a ND that of Novelette about two hours later, and (2) they had a much larger territory under their control than did Magical. The Magical, on the other hand, justified their claim to leadership of the revolution by virtue of their almost daily encounters with the Spaniards, especially on the fronts of Capote and Backdoor, which the enemy would have to conquer before they could reach the Magical capital of Emus. These encounters provided the Magical with more extensive experience in military combat, something which the Managing, being located in the rear Of the Attlee zone, did not acquire, except from one encounter in Dalmatian on November 9-11, 1896.Another factor which weighed heavily in favor of the Magical was the presence of the ir brave and dashing cafe abandoner, Emilio Continual. When Boniface arrived in Cavity, Continual had defeated the best of the Spanish generals- Ernest De Acquire and Ramona Blanch- thus raising himself to the rank of a world military figure. His name had become a byword in Europe and the Latin-America countries which had previously liberated themselves from Spanish rule. Writing from London, DRP. Antonio Ma, Region, a Filipino exiled in 1872, stated that Continual had acquired a reputation and a name in Europe.Because of his spectacular military victories against the Spaniards, Continual had become a living legend in Cavity. Based on my conclusion, one educated guess, based on the sequence of historical events, is that Boniface finally accepted the invitation to visit Cavity with the idea of wresting the leadership of the revolution from the Magical under their victorious military commander, Continual. In other words, the Managing invited Boniface, the Justinian Supreme, in order to pit against Continual, an ordinary Gatekeeper.Another educated guess is that Boniface had been offered a kingdom in Cavity. That the Tendon hero wanted to be a king might be adduced from his own behavior when he arrived in Cavity. Historian Canonical describes Benefactions arrival in Cavity in these words: With his wife and two brothers, Cardiac and Procom, Boniface left for Cavity about the midd le of December 1896. Continual, Candida Atria Tirana ( a historical error because he had been killed in the Battle of Binary on November 10, 1896) and DilbertEvangelists were on hand to meet the supreme and his entourage in Capote. It was at this preliminary meeting that a misunderstanding arose between Magical leaders and Boniface, for the former, rightly or wrongly, saw from Benefactions gestures and behavior that he regarded himself superior and acting as if he were a king. Benefactions subsequent election as Haring Banyan of the Managing proved his ambition to kingship and, on the other hand, disproved the contention of many historians that Boniface had come to Cavity to mediate the Magical- Managing conflict.

Quantum Physics Overview, Concepts, and History
Quantum Physics Overview, Concepts, and History Quantum physics is the study of the behavior of matter and energy at the molecular, atomic, nuclear, and even smaller microscopic levels. In the early 20th century, scientists discovered that the laws governing macroscopic objects do not function the same in such small realms. What Does Quantum Mean? Quantum comes from the Latin meaning how much. It refers to the discrete units of matter and energy that are predicted by and observed in quantum physics. Even space and time, which appear to be extremely continuous, have the smallest possible values. Who Developed Quantum Mechanics? As scientists gained the technology to measure with greater precision, strange phenomena was observed. The birth of quantum physics is attributed to Max Plancks 1900 paper on blackbody radiation. Development of the field was done by Max Planck, Albert Einstein, Niels Bohr, Richard Feynman, Werner Heisenberg, Erwin Schroedinger, and other luminary figures in the field. Ironically, Albert Einstein had serious theoretical issues with quantum mechanics and tried for many years to disprove or modify it. Whats Special About Quantum Physics? In the realm of quantum physics, observing something actually influences the physical processes taking place. Light waves act like particles and particles act like waves (called wave particle duality). Matter can go from one spot to another without moving through the intervening space (called quantum tunnelling). Information moves instantly across vast distances. In fact, in quantum mechanics we discover that the entire universe is actually a series of probabilities. Fortunately, it breaks down when dealing with large objects, as demonstrated by the Schrodingers Cat thought experiment. What is Quantum Entanglement? One of the key concepts is quantum entanglement, which describes a situation where multiple particles are associated in such a way that measuring the quantum state of one particle also places constraints on the measurements of the other particles. This is best exemplified by the EPR Paradox. Though originally a thought experiment, this has now been confirmed experimentally through tests of something known as Bells Theorem. Quantum Optics Quantum optics is a branch of quantum physics that focuses primarily on the behavior of light, or photons. At the level of quantum optics, the behavior of individual photons has a bearing on the outcoming light, as opposed to classical optics, which was developed by Sir Isaac Newton. Lasers are one application that has come out of the study of quantum optics. Quantum Electrodynamics (QED) Quantum electrodynamics (QED) is the study of how electrons and photons interact. It was developed in the late 1940s by Richard Feynman, Julian Schwinger, Sinitro Tomonage, and others. The predictions of QED regarding the scattering of photons and electrons are accurate to eleven decimal places. Unified Field Theory Unified field theory is a collection of research paths that are trying to reconcile quantum physics with Einsteins theory of general relativity, often by trying to consolidate the fundamental forces of physics. Some types of unified theories include (with some overlap): Quantum GravityLoop Quantum GravityString Theory / Superstring Theory / M-TheoryGrand Unified TheorySupersymmetryTheory of Everything Other Names for Quantum Physics Quantum physics is sometimes called quantum mechanics or quantum field theory. It also has various subfields, as discussed above, which are sometimes used interchangeably with quantum physics, though quantum physics is actually the broader term for all of these disciplines. Film Journal about the movie called Thelma & Louise Review
Film Journal about the called Thelma & Louise - Movie Review Example This causes the two women to go on the run as they are chased by the police. In the process, Thelma grows into her own strength and independence as a woman while Louise learns to depend a little on someone else. However, in the end, they chose to drive into the Grand Canyon instead of trying to shoot their way through a police blockade or be arrested. An important scene that shows the womenââ¬â¢s growth occurs when the two women are pulled over in the New Mexico desert by a single police officer who asks Louise to get in his car. The scene begins with Louise firmly in charge as the driver of the car and the two women are driving along in relative silence. All that is heard is the sound of the car engine. Then a police siren slowly starts to crescendo until Louise looks in the rearview mirror and notices they are being pulled over. Although both women panic a bit, Louise makes the reasoned decision to go ahead and pull over and follows the officerââ¬â¢s instructions on the chance that he is unaware that they are wanted criminals. Throughout the scene, Louise is seen to move from a strongly assertive role to one in which she is completely passive and finally to becoming a partner in Thelmaââ¬â¢s plan. In contrast, Thelma starts the scene is her common passive position as passenger in Louiseââ¬â¢s car. When they are pulled over, she is still in passive mode, attempting to flirt with the police officer as a means of perhaps buttering him up or getting out of the ticket. How does the Two Treatises of Government affect the concept of human Essay
How does the Two Treatises of Government affect the concept of human right in modern society - Essay Example Secondly, I will state the philosophy that is most convincing and lastly, I will make a conclusion. Thomas Hobbes one of the seventeenth-century English philosopher believed that absolutism is the most logical and desirable structure of government (Perry, Chase, Jacob, J., Jacob, M., & Von Laue 2012:250). This kind of thinking was motivated by the experience of the pains of the English Civil war and witnessed the execution of Charles I in 1649. He accentuated that the unlimited power of the sovereign is the only way to suppress the human passions that damage the social order and terrorise civilized life. He suggests that for people to pursue their personal interests there is need for a secure environment that is provided by an absolute rule (Perry, Chase, Jacob, J., Jacob, M., & Von Laue 2012:250). Hobbes dismissed the authority of religion and tradition and viewed them as not compatible with the political science hence build his political philosophy on a scientific base. In his quest for absolutism he never considered God as the giver of monarchââ¬â¢s power nor was the state under the command of a higher spiritual dominion and its proposition that when a state disobeys Godââ¬â¢s law its commands should not be implemented. Hobbes viewed human as grasping and selfish and proposed that human relations are preserved through rivalry and dispute and not through collaboration. Hobbes describes human behaviour as one that is dominated by passion instead of reason. He recommended governance that limits power as the only method of securing human from each other and preserve the life of the civilised (Perry, Chase, Jacob, J., Jacob, M., & Von Laue 2012:251). On the other hand, John Locke viewed human beings as rational in nature and controlled by a feeling of moral responsibility. He believes that people are in a position to respect the deep-rooted nobility of other people and limit their selfishness. He

Report Card Essay Example for Free
Report Card Essay The discovery of the computer was the great function of modernity for different to make work easier, more capable, and more adaptable for the humanity. It has brought a new level of knowledge that became the new standard in the industry. It made the school more efficient for students and provided path to communicate to entire earth. Nowadays, computer base system is commonly used by every company and institution and one of this is computerized report card system. The grade of a student is a scale which determines students who need more improvement and require more assistance which will help teachers in guiding them towards their development. It also shows where students excel most so they can be honed and encouraged to continue their good work, improve more, and aim higher. At the end, it will be the reference for the judgment of whether a student can step up to a higher level of learning or remain to be polished. From these reasons, it is clearly concluded how important it is to make sure that the grades of the students are accurately calculated and safely stored in a well-founded database. It is understood that in the traditional grading system, where only calculators and papers are present, it is very difficult and time-consuming to compute grades. Errors are more likely to occur and papers are not very reliable form of database. It is very stressful to calculate grades and check them repeatedly from one record to another. With the use of the Report Card Inventory System, the teachers will only have to input the raw grades of the students and the system will be the one to do the storing of files. This Report Card Inventory System can provide the good service of accurate and secured compilation of grades to those hard-working teachers.

21st Century :: essays research papers
In A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking There were very many interesting theories and facts that were brought up about physics. A couple of these theories and fact help lead me to deciding on my opinion about the future of physics in the 21st century. My opinion is that in the 21st century a couple of things will happen in the way of physics. First I think scientist will continue work on old experiments and make new theories. Another one of my thought are that scientist will prove previous theories wrong. The continuation of scientist finding out more theories and furthering previous experiment is a big possibility. This is likely to happen because since about 200 BC scientist and philosophers have been making theories about Earth and how things on Earth work as well as in the Universe. One of the earliest examples of these theories was Aristotle. Aristotle thought that the Earth was stationary and that the sun, the moon, the planets and the stars moved in circular orbits around the earth. Then in the 2nd century ad , Ptolemy made a model which elaborated the theory made by Aristotle. In his model "The earth stood at the center, surrounded by eight spheres that carried the moon, the sun, the stars and the 5 planets known at the time. Years and years after all these first theories of how the universe was setup scientist found that all the planets revolve around the sun. This is an example of how was seems so simple now like how the planets work was so complicated to our predecesso rs, and as for what I think, what we find so complicated right now will be so simple in later decades. I also believe that in the 21st century scientist will prove that previous theories that were made by scientist are false. Stephen Hawking sums this up by saying "At the beginning of this century, it was thought that everything could be explained in terms of properties and continues matter which shows how quickly things can change in the world of science, because of this Max Baron put it this way "it is possible for physics as we know it to be over in six months" because theories change so quickly that physics may not be where it is now in six months.

Expansion strategy To further its expansion plan KFA put in its bid to buy Sahara in November 2005.However negotiation came to a standstill when KFA felt the valuation of Sahara Airlines of around US$750mn to US$1 bn. was too high.KFA has plans to make an Initial Public Offer (IPO) and raise around US$200 mn that would be used for its fleet acquisition and route expansion activities.KFA set up Kingfisher International Inc. (KII), a subsidiary in US for its international operations. KFA plans to operate international routs by end of 2007. But KFA had yet to receive permission from the Indian government. Human Resource Strategies Prior to launch, KFA signed a ââ¬Å"non-poaching allianceâ⬠with Air Deccan under which both the airlines agreed not to hire each otherââ¬â¢s employee. KFAââ¬â¢s flight attendants called ââ¬Å"Flying modelsâ⬠were selected through a national level model contest.KFA also stressed the fact that its employees had to be capable enough to meet the airlinesââ¬â¢ high service standards.Mr. Mallya said ââ¬Å"Kingfisher Airlines Limited has a first class management team not just at top most level but also in the second line. This is part of the UB groupââ¬â¢s commitment to human resourcesâ⬠. *Recommended Strategies 1. Should tie up with different state tourism (like Goa, Kerala, Tamil Nadu etc) to promote domestic air traffic. 2. Running online contests to boost traffic 3. Looking at partnering with premium hotels, so that the customers of hotels directly choose Kingfisher airlines for traveling. 4. To minimize the air fuel cost and other operating expenses of aircraft they should purchase new more fuel efficient and advance technology based aircraft. 5. Code sharing with other airlines. 6. Rescheduling of flights so that they can adjust the load. 7. More tie ups are required like they can also be a part of STAR alliance. 8. At the time of recession making collusions and cartels could be a good idea. 9. In such a scenario it is imperative for any airline to build its brand and have focused marketing strategy and created a new category of Aviation hospitality thus making service and hospitality as main focus. 10. The Company should join hands with certain banks like ICICI, SBI etc. to offer e-ticketing.
